What You’ll Do:
- Contract Management & Client Success
- Own contract lifecycle: scoping, pricing inputs, renewals, addenda, compliance documentation.
- Launch and stabilize new sites (post orders, site books, onboarding plans, Standard Operation Processes "SOP's").
- Maintain strong client relationships with scheduled check-ins and performance reviews.
- Track and deliver monthly reports.
- Hiring & Staffing
- Build and run the recruiting pipeline: job ads, sourcing, screening, interviews, reference checks.
- Coordinate background checks, licensing/guard card verification, and onboarding.
- Workforce planning: schedules, shift coverage.
- Partner with training to ensure officers meet company and client standards.
- Operations & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with state/local regulations and client requirements.
- Support incident reviews, quality audits, and corrective action plans.
- Contribute to budgets and margin protection; flag variances early.
What You Bring:
- 2–5+ years in security, contract management, staffing, or operations (multi-site preferred).
- Proven recruiting/hiring experience for hourly field roles.
- Strong client-facing communication and negotiation skills.
- Solid scheduling/workforce planning.
- Working knowledge of guard card/licensing processes in SD (or willingness to learn quickly).
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation; ability to visit client sites as needed.
- Nice to have: prior law enforcement, military, or private security leadership experience.
Schedule & Travel:
- Generally Mon–Fri with on-call rotation for urgent coverage; periodic travel to client sites.

What You Bring:
- Required: 18+ (21+ for armed), HS diploma/GED, valid driver’s license, reliable transportation.
- Professional communication, situational awareness, and calm under pressure.
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and work outdoors when needed.
- Licensing: Eligible for South Dakota security licensing/guard card; must pass background checks and any required drug screening.
- Armed roles: Current/eligible firearms permit, safe handling, and ability to pass company qualification.
- Nice to have: Prior security, military, or law-enforcement experience; CPR/First Aid; de-escalation training.

- Onboarding & Compliance
- Own new-hire onboarding: paperwork, background checks, license/guard-card guidance, I-9, and gear issue.
- Ensure post-order readiness before first shift; maintain clean, audit-ready training records.
- Instruction & Qualifications
- Lead mandatory blocks: professionalism, report writing, radio procedures, patrol/access control, incident documentation, and use-of-force decision-making.
- Firearms: Plan and run live-fire quals, remedial coaching, and skill sustainment; manage range safety plans/briefs, med plans, and hot/cold range procedures; maintain armory logs.
- De-Escalation: Deliver scenario-based instruction focused on communication, time/distance, and alternatives to force; evaluate judgement under stress.
- Defensive Tactics (DT): Teach control, escort, and defense concepts matched to policy and site risks; integrate handcuffing and weapon-retention fundamentals.
- Curriculum & Quality
- Update lesson plans/SOPs; align to South Dakota regulations and client requirements.
- Run ride-alongs/site audits; implement corrective training and track KPIs (training completion, 90-day retention, incident quality, qual pass rates).
What You Bring:
- 3+ years in security, law enforcement, military, or protective services with hands-on instructor experience.
- Required current credentials (or ability to present proof of equivalency):
Firearms Instructor certification (e.g., state POST, NRA Law Enforcement, USCCA, manufacturer-specific, or equivalent).
De-Escalation Instructor certification (e.g., state POST or recognized program emphasizing communication and decision-making).
Defensive Tactics Instructor certification
- Nice to have: Range Safety Officer (RSO), CPR/First Aid/AED Instructor, less-lethal (OC/CEW) instructor, armorer.
- Strong classroom presence, scenario facilitation, and one-on-one coaching; meticulous documentation habits.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; able to lift/haul range gear and stand for extended periods.
Schedule & Travel:
- Primarily Mon–Fri with occasional evenings/weekends for range days, rush classes, or new-site start-ups; light regional travel to client sites.
